...Hey so i think by this time now we can all agree with each other, and David J., on the subject of how shitty rap/rock is and how it's become this unlistenable jock/cholo/punk rocker hybrid of the worst bands you can think of all wrapped up in one unbelievably ridiculous musical sensation. Truly an unwanted commodity.
So now that it has matured into this uncontrollable angst filled teenager, we could really care less what happens to that insecure thicknecked vato with a sensitive guitar break.
But, i do remember when this stuff was still trying to find itself. Then it was a little bit sweeter and at the very least, more interesting. Here's a classic gem from the "experimental" era by two of MY favorites!!! Perfect!!!

Today is the Day...
...you come to terms with the fact that Metallica(yeah that Metallica!) are the whiney, rich, gone soft, cry babies (with nothing to cry about),quitter assholes, dad-rock, busters that you've thought they've been for way more than the last decade.
Now here's how you do it!!!...

No crying allowed on ED FORCE ONE!!!Lars!!!

Pilipino Rock!!!
...Is not exactly rock music in the traditional sense of the term "rock". Just a phrase i use to name a musical genre and specific sound that has come and sadly gone in my time on earth.I dont even think any Pilipinos performed any of the songs.
Anyhow, where i went to school there were alot of Pilipinos, i mean alot.So needless to say their culture had a big impact on mine. Not only did i fall in love with their exquisite taste in style, their ever faithful love for the art of karaoke and Manny Pacquiao but also for their love of the lo-fi electronically produced dance ballads with the most heart felt lyrics you've ever heard! Just think R&B today, but with that extra charm that somehow doesn't sound perfect, but just good enough do dedicate just one slow jam to your fine pinoy princess. These are some of my favorites...
...also proof of how bad ass Pilipinos are!!!
